Patrick Beverley has been on a media frenzy tour lately and it seems like he’s really excited about Chris Paul. As Beverley talks about his play, some current NBA players call him out on his nonsense.
On this week’s episode of his Inside the Green Room podcast, Philadelphia 76ers veteran Danny Green opened up about Beverley’s way of evolving as Clown Paul.
“People are targeting you too, Pat Bev,” Green replied, per NBC Sports Philly. “You don’t play a damn defense out there. You’re not stopping Luka. It’s not uncommon for me to see Luka calling you a- “little man” and “he’s too small” and going straight for you at every opportunity. If you play Luka, you are also a skittle. how would you like that
“When you’re talking about a Hall of Famer, you can be critical, but I think the disrespect has been overdone a little,” Green added. “I think [Beverley] only used this platform because he has a problem with Chris and he used it as a personal revenge to vent a lot of his anger on set at that moment. I felt it was unfair to Chris and I’m sure a lot of people felt the same way, a lot of guys in the league. I don’t mind certain people criticizing players, but you’re a role player. Disrespecting a Hall of Famer is going too far. Calling someone a cone is disrespectful, bruh. I do not care.”
Green is usually a quiet person who goes in and plays his game. That he made those comments and defended Paul only suggests Beverley should attack Paul.
