If “I said what I said” was a person, insert Dave Chappelle.
Comedian Dave Chappelle finally talks about his controversial stand-up special “The Closer”. During his show in Nashville over the weekend, Chappelle went unexcused and said, “I said what I said.”
It was important for him to make it clear that he was ready to meet with members of the LGBTQ community as many have named his particular transphobia.
Netflix employees are protesting for more inclusive working conditions because the audience can see “The Closer” there.
Chappelle joked that he was the only one not allowed into their offices. He said he would meet with members of the transgender community under certain conditions. First you have to watch his special from start to finish and can only meet on his terms as he is not called.
