A diary for Jordan is a new vacation film with Michael B. Jordan and Chante Adams. The film was directed by Denzel Washington and is based on a true story.
“First Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier in Iraq who is beginning to keep a diary of love and advice for his young son. Back home, the New York Times Executive Editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) shares the story of her improbable, life-changing relationship with King and his continued devotion to her and her child. The film is a comprehensive account of a unique love and a haunting reminder of the importance of the family, ”says the synopsis.
In contrast to the film fences, Denzel takes a back seat on this project. “I didn’t have to be there to be able to, I could just concentrate on making the film. I didn’t have to worry about, uh, acting at all, ”he said during the red carpet premiere.
The stars of the film all graced the film’s red carpet premiere, including Michael, Chante, Tamara Tunie and Robert Wisdom.
Jalon Christian, who portrays Jordan, celebrated his first red carpet and starring role at the screening of A Journal for Jordan in New York City.
The cast, media and other attendees enjoyed an intimate viewing of what Adams describes as “tear-wrenching, heartwarming and breathtaking”.
After the fans saw the film on Christmas Day, Michael B. Jordan wanted to show the audience that “everything is possible through love”. He continued, “I think the fact that she wrote this novel through Dana’s tragedy, the loss of her true love, and through her son, was adapted. Now their story is immortal. It takes a lot of vulnerability and a lot of trust to make your tragedy visible to the world. And I think she created something beautiful. So being part of it means a lot. “
