Glen “Big Baby” Davis seems to believe in karma. Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving left Sunday’s playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks after sprained his right ankle.
After Irving awkwardly landed on his right ankle, Davis commented on Instagram that the leg was the same leg that Irving used to disregard the Boston Celtics mid-court logo earlier in the postseason.
“Karma is real. Energy is real no matter what you say, ”Davis said in another IG comment. “This logo means something negative or positive. Ky wished that herself (sic). Energy is real, always have respect for others, regardless of whether it is (sic) a logo (sic) not. “
After the Nets beat the Celtics in the first round in Game 4, Irving greeted his teammates on center court and stomped on the draw for Lucky the Leprechaun, the team’s mascot.
Davis is obviously still uncomfortable with what Irving was doing in Boston. For the record, it’s not the same foot Irving stepped on Lucky. That was Irving’s left. The injury was Irving’s right.
