Yesterday, hip-hop icon and film director Ice Cube took to social media to reach out Friday Actor Faizon Love, who said he only paid $ 2,500 for his role as Big Worm.
Faizon said he was offered a double salary ($ 5,000) to appear next Friday, but he declined. Cube wrote on Twitter, “I didn’t rob a damn body. The 1995 Friday film cost $ 2.3 million to make. Shot it in 20 days. Fazion worked 1 day, maybe 2. All actors were paid to make the film. You could [simply] said ‘no’ but they didn’t. So miss me with this shit … “
Someone on the timeline made the comment that Chris Tucker was not repeating his role as Smokey for financial reasons, but Cube responded to that too, explaining: “We were willing to pay Chris Tucker $ 10-12 million for next Friday, but he turned us down on religious grounds. He didn’t want to curse or smoke weed in front of the camera. “Tucker himself said he turned down the role because “I don’t want to represent everyone who smokes weed. I made it kind of more personal than a movie, and that’s one of the reasons I said, ‘No, I don’t want to keep this character.’ “
