Nas expands its reach in the cryptocurrency world with a new NFT deal.
This week, Royal announced that they are teaming up with the Queens symbol to sell expanded versions of NFTs known as limited digital assets.
“To have Nas as the first artist to sell licensing rights through Royal is an incredible endorsement of our mission,” said Royal CEO Justin “3LAU” Blau.
“It is proof that artists of all genres are keen to democratize ownership of their music and that they want to connect with their listeners on a deeper level.”
According to reports, the NFT will allow fans to acquire streaming license rights to Nas’ Royal disease and Royal disease II Tracks, “Ultra Black” and “Rare”.
Nas shared a comment on complex about the partnership.
“I’m always looking for new and unique ways to get in touch with people. So I’m excited to be working with Royal on their new endeavor to connect the world to my music in new ways. “
Overall, the hip-hop legend will give up 50 percent of its streaming rights for each of these songs.

Royal is expected to release the Nas NFT on their official website on January 11th.
