You know, this can be an intensely spooky time of year. AA Milne’s iconic character, Winnie the Pooh, has gone public and is now starring in a slasher film. This edition of the bear is not to be confused with Disney’s lovable honey-eating bear.
The trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was released on Wednesday (August 31), adapting the children’s comic book into a horror film in which Pooh strangles, slashes and crushes a group of teenagers.
The film is about Pooh and Piglet who go on a rampage after being abandoned by Christopher Robin. Film director Rhys Waterfield told Variety that the two stars are returning to their animal roots after having to fend for themselves after Robin left college.
