Unsure Star Yvonne Orji is celibate and she doesn’t play around saying she will stay that way until they get married. Respect! But when it comes to acting through those passionate sex scenes on Insecure, Issa Rae’s hit HBO comedy series, she recently revealed how she handled the hot moments.
On the Zuri Hall radio show Hot happy mess, Orji shared what it felt like going through her first sex scene, which went down in the first season of Insecure with actor Langston Kerman. Orji said the costume designer provided her with intimate clothing and even gave her some advice on how to behave during the actual filming.
“[The costume designer] When she looked at the first tape, she pulled me into the bathroom and said you should let the man lead, you are out of step, ”she said, as reported by EURweb. “She stands behind me and makes the emotions … she is very gripping. Then she’s like, go and give him a call [Kerman] in here. So we practiced in the bathroom. “
“We definitely made sure it looked believable,” she added.
But outside of the Insecure set, Orji has extensively disclosed her life choice to remain celibate, which she attributes to personal and religious reasons.
“There was a woman on campus doing a Bible study. She was a medical student, she was beautiful and when I heard this I thought, ‘What to do?’ And she was 26. She was a virgin too. As with many more hot moments to come to Insecure, HBO has announced that this will be the fifth and final season of the hit series. Issa spoke up about the last seasonToday,and said she was ready to say goodbye to her first hit.
“I’m definitely ready to let go of it. I knew I wanted to end it after five seasons, ”she said in April. “And I’m really proud of this season we’re shooting now. It’s so much fun and I appreciate the show in a different way. “
