3 ways to wear an oversized blazer – sexy date night look & polished classic

If you read my blog regularly, you know that blazers are pretty much a staple for me. I love the versatility they offer, love the way they dress casual looks and dress up some of my sexy / elegant outfits. Today I wanted to share 3 ways I like to wear oversize blazers – hope you like it!

This was an outfit I recently wore to a dinner with my husband. I don’t always dress up for going out, but I just got this mini and wanted a chance to wear it. Usually when I wear super short skirts like this one, especially when paired with a cut out bodysuit, I like to add an oversized blazer over it just to reduce the sexiness of the look.

Speaking of oversized blazers, if you’re looking to add one to your wardrobe, leather or faux leather blazers are a big trend this season. Personally, I’m all about it! A leather blazer is basically just as versatile as a leather jacket, just a bit more polished and elegant.

The oversized fit is great because it gives you so many styling options that you can of course wear it with t-shirts and blouses now, but also later when paired with chunky knits!

A slightly more sophisticated way to wear an oversize blazer is with a satin midi skirt. This is my first choice whenever I want to look polished and dressed up. Quick styling tip: if crop tops aren’t really your thing, pair your satin skirt and oversized blazer with a simple spaghetti strap top (figure-hugging styles tend to work best).

Last but not least, it’s about biker shorts, you know how much I love them! I love the fun, playful look this combo creates, and it gives you the opportunity to go very bold with your accents!
