I love this 90’s inspired makeup that an artist from Tom Ford Beauty created for me for a recent event! So today I want to walk you through some of the key products we used to achieve this look.
Ok, let’s talk about the makeup heroes of this look, starting with this Shade & Illuminate highlighter & shader duo. I love it because it creates the most realistic shadows and blends beautifully! We used the shader just below my cheekbones to sculpt the face and accentuate facial structure, and used the highlighter just above my cheekbones and on the bridge of my nose to add a bit of shine. In case you missed the last time I raved about this highlighter… it gives off a gorgeous, natural glow, so if you’re not a fan of super-powerful glittery highlighters, you should definitely check it out!
We decided to go for a bold eye look, so the artist used a shimmering shade of lavender from Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Pretty Baby in the outer corners of the eyes and Cream eye color in shade Sphinx in the inside corners. BTW, Tom Ford’s Cream Color for Eyes shadows are my absolute favorite topper shadows of all time! The shade Sphinx is a particularly beautiful gold/pink double chrome. Love the multidimensional glow it creates!
Last but not least are the lips. We went for the darker ’90s lip liner/glossy lip look, so the artist used a Lip Sculptor in the shade Instigate just to line my lips and fill the rest of the mouth with it Gloss Luxe Moisturizing Lip Gloss in the shade Aura. Next, he used a lip brush to blend the liner with the gloss to eliminate that harsh line.
