On a recent visit to a CHANEL store, I swooned at their new makeup arrivals! Unfortunately they didn’t have that N1 DE CHANEL Red Camellia Revitalizing Foundation and the Red Camellia Revitalizing Lip & Cheek Balm – their latest product launches (they are available now at ULTA If you’re looking), I’ve picked up a few other things I can’t wait to share with you!
The first thing that really called my name was that CHANEL Ombre Première Laque Longwear Eye Shadow: a long-lasting liquid metallic eyeshadow. I don’t normally wear green eyeshadow, but I wanted to try something new and loved this elegant green shade. By the way, if green is a bit too daring for you, it comes in a variety of stunning shades of gold and taupe.
I picked that up too CHANEL Stylo Ombre Et Contour Eyeshadow Liner Khôl in a matching shade and I can’t say enough good things about this pen. I’m not a fan of hard pencils but this one is very creamy and blends so well! I definitely had fun experimenting with different looks. Of course, I tried my signature cat eye in this green, but I also like the way it works as a matte shadow all over the upturned lid. I just blend it out a bit with a brush to get that chic, toned down look.
The next thing I picked up isn’t new to me, I’ve had this lipstick for years and I don’t think I’ll ever love another nude lipstick like I love it CHANEL Rouge Coco Ultra moisturizing lip color at Adrienne. Did you know that this is CHANEL’s best-selling lipstick color? To be honest, I’m not surprised! It’s such a beautiful, warm, medium-dark peach shade. Oh, and the finish is gorgeous! Creamy and moisturizing, it feels very comfortable on the lips yet lasts. I usually combine it with my Charlotte Tilbury lip liner pillow talk (this creates a slightly colder nude) or Pink Venus for a warmer kind of nude.
As always, I’ve added all the products I used to create this look to mine SHOP INSTAGRAM side, soCLICK HEREShopping!
