Today The North Face launched a global campaign to inspire a generation of new explorers and they received help from big names in hip hop.
In celebration of North Face’s New Explorers campaign, the company will release a series of short films starring musicians, athletes and activists including Pi’erre Bourne, snowboarder Jess Kimura, filmmaker Jimmy Chin, activist Mikhail Martin, rapper Princess Nokia and more.
The campaign will continue the brand’s decade-long motto – Exploration Changes Lives – that The North Face has highlighted through product innovations, athlete expeditions and mentoring programs such as the Explore Fund. Now The North Face goes beyond the physical to broaden the definition of exploration and inspire a new generation to do the same.
Additionally, The North Face will be partnering with renowned New York musicians this fall to put on pop-up performances around town that will encourage fans to step out of their comfort zone. The first of three performances will feature rapper and producer Pi’erre Bourne and a re-release of the brand’s iconic 1996 Nuptse jacket.
