Today I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to wear and style biker shorts this summer. Although I often wear biker shorts more casual (paired with sneakers and a sweatshirt, for example), I love dressing them up with a sharp blazer and heels.
A case in point is the outfit I’m wearing in today’s post. First, I’m a big fan of biker shorts and a blazer combo. The blazer adds a nice, fitted element to this look and creates some volume at the top that helps balance out the figure-hugging bottom. Choosing heels instead of flat shoes is a personal decision as you can definitely go for slippers, but I happen to like the Polish heels, which complement this otherwise rather casual combination.
While you can definitely try this combo with pretty much any style of biker shorts, I suggest going for knitted biker shorts. Personally, I like the way the knit fabric gives this casual item a slightly more elegant feel.
I like to combine biker shorts with voluminous tops in longer lengths. Whether you combine your biker shorts with a blazer or a tunic-style shirt, choose something with a slightly oversized fit. This combination tends to give your outfit a more balanced ratio and looks particularly noticeable in combination with heels.
