Everyone wants to know what shoes Eminem wore during his Super Bowl halftime performance.
Right after the show was over tonight (February 13), Shady took to his Instagram to post a photo of the kicks he had with the caption “Air Shady.” The image shows a pair of Jordan 3s in white, black and red with a name tag on the back with the words “Hi! My name is Slim Shady.” If this is an official upcoming release, it wouldn’t be the first time Shady has had a collaboration with Nike. He previously had an exclusive Air Max 90 and a Nike Air Jordan IV Retro Eminem Encore.
Em debuted the new Jordan 3 during Super Bowl LVI’s epic halftime show, which also included Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent attended. Em performed his hit single “Lose Yourself”. The hip-hop-heavy show also featured K-Dot with “Alright” and “mAAd City”, Mary J. with “Family Affair” and “No More Drama”, Fif with “In Da Club” and Snoop and Dre with ” Next Episode”, “Still DRE” and “California Love”.
Em made a statement during his set by kneeling during his performance, an alleged reference to former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who knelt during games in protest. Rumors circulated that the NFL said Shady was not allowed to do this. The halftime show didn’t include a Tupac Shakur hologram, as many had speculated.
