beauswörld is an artist based in Australia. The rapper has recently received a lot of positive attention due to his tracks. We got the chance to interview him below
First of all, can you tell us how you were introduced into the music industry?
beauswörld: I think the way I was introduced was by a lot of influential people around me and I think one of the main things was having the privilege to learn musical instruments it lead me to dive further into a musical life, I used to make beats and I’d try different musical equipment to see what I enjoyed, piano, guitar, drums, to name a few, I stuck with acoustic guitars and a microphone the most, my uncle was a musician and he was extremely passionate at one point in his life, he took me under his wing and he kept me motivated to chase my dreams, he told me I wouldn’t be happy forcing myself into something I didn’t like, and it’s always stuck with me even though I thought it myself, I always played instruments growing up and I enjoyed everything about music from its beginnings.
Where do you find your artistic inspiration?
beauswörld: I find my inspiration from internal and external sources, whether it be as simple as an empty mind (this can do more than you know) or as complex as a experimenting with new sounds and different aspects of music, usually I listen to older music when I’m wanting to feel re inspired or time capsuled, I don’t necessarily like to create the same thing twice which makes it difficult to stay on one task, for some reason my song sounds completely different from the last one, finding pockets in different sounds and music has lead me to a path of an experimental artist.
How do you feel about your music’s popularity?
beauswörld: to be honest, it’s always a positive outlook on my end, I’m forever grateful the response my music has received from the world, there was no way 5-10 years ago I’d ever thought I’d get this far, every little achievement means so much to me and continues to push me further, I believe my music does have a great sense of popularity even then I think it can grow into something even greater, if you weren’t aiming high what’s the point of aiming, I just want to see where my music takes me, I believe it’s a road with many different outcomes, the subject is so broad, I’m super stoked to grow as an artist, I’m watching me… through me…., also looking forward to collaborate, share and receive ideas with co workers in the industry
Who have been the most influential musicians for you?
beauswörld: Usually this topic overwhelms me, there’s so many musicians that have been a great influence to my craft.
What are your music goals?
beauswörld: one most definitely is progression I want to see where this road takes me, ever since I was younger there was always this feeling of being in the entertainment industry, a feeling of creating something that doesn’t yet quite exist, I want to be able to tour and travel besides covid, and I want to be able to influence individuals that they can too chase their dreams, I want to be at a standard where I can work on music full time and not have to answer to any bs. I also don’t want to share every single goal I have because I like to keep a lot personal, but speaking general, you don’t have to feel forced to go to a place you hate to earn your money, if you’re working somewhere you hate, you’re best to find a positive environment and be working on something you can love otherwise you will never beat a sense of depression, yes if you’re passionate about your career thats fantastic and I’m so proud of you for finding your dreams, excel in your excellence, make your money while you’re in this 3D in a healthy way if that is what you want, but if you’re at a certain job you hate, you’ll never fix it unless can do it differently, a career has a massive impact on people’s mental health, I know this first hand because I see people every day suffering from confusion and wondering why they aren’t feeling fulfilled you won’t get pure happiness from money but it definitely helps surviving on this planet even generational wealth and keep your family healthy, again money isn’t the be all end all but you catch what I’m saying, it’s because you’re not chasing your true feelings, I want to use music as an opportunity for people to enjoy and explore some experience in my music because music can make a massive difference to how a person is feeling whether it’s hype, savage, depression. I feel like just generally existing and being an artist inspires people around me, I also want to encourage people to open their heart and never be ashamed of what you’re feeling. Even as little as having fun, do it with no shame or fear of acceptance. A lot of the times growing up I found it hard to develop strong positive relationships. Stay real, money can’t buy love regardless of my spirituality I’m gonna get a bag cause I don’t just think of myself its the whole process main thing I’m looking forward to is the energy I’m gonna give y’all going to get hyped from me.
If you have to choose someone to collaborate with on an EP who would that be and why?
beauswörld: There are artists I have in mind however I want it to naturally levitate towards that. I would even find it interesting to see what the fans want to see and get their perspective on my sounds, because their opinion and input can also be extremely effective, I am soul focused on my own creation and finalising any decisions with myself however it would be very interesting to see this response and see if it’s on the same thought as mine.
What advice would you give to upcoming artists?
beauswörld: this is a very good question, no matter what if youre consistently sticking to something you’re passionate about it will always pay off in your favour, god is also in your favour, when you’re showing your music to someone their perspective will be completely different from your own, their perspective is based off what they’ve heard before or they will be subconsciously judging to what music sounds like to what yours does as a general, it’s never going to be pop star the first time you jump on the mic or start making beats, you were crawling before you walked, you walked before you ran, the process will show your elevation, it will show you your strengths and weaknesses so appreciate the growth, make sure you thicken your skin and walls because you will need to prepare yourself for any bs that will be thrown at you, people don’t see your dreams only you do, they only know you from your perspective, and even if you do get good, even then it’s envy, I have smelt envy my entire life, I just take it as a big fat compliment, so it’s hard to ever catch that love, but it is out there, I just know it, never set your expectations too high especially in the beginning.
