Drake could suggest Kanye West’s direction for Trippie Redd’s new song “Betrayal”.
To appear on Trippie’s new album Excursion at Knight, The highly anticipated collaboration appeared on the Completed Version of the LP, which was released today (August 21). On the track, Drizzy appears to be targeting his friend Kanye West. “All these fools I hardly know,” says Drake about the track produced by Taz Taylor, PinkGrillz88 and Dynox. “Forty-five, 44 (burned out) let it go.”
Both Kanye and Drake’s archenemy Pusha-T are 44 years old. Also, the OVO rapper seems to be referring to Kanye’s mystery Donda Publication date with the following line “‘Ye ain’t change’ shit for me, it is set in stone.”
Rumors circulated that either Drake or Kanye were waiting for the other to come out to release their own album that same day, leading to a sales battle similar to Kanye West’s and 50 cents head-to-head if they did to be published diploma and Curtis, each on the same day in 2007. It wouldn’t be far fetched considering the egos of Drake and ‘Ye’ and past problems.
This is not the first time Drake has raised his eyebrows with outright talk lately. At the end of July he confirmed his Certified lover boy Album was made and some subliminal warnings sent out at the same time. “For the rest of you Gentiles, I want to tell you because I know you’re listening, because you’re always free,” Drake said on Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friday point on SiriusXM radio. “Don’t bother people’s children, don’t disturb people’s souls, you know what I’m saying? OVO, we’re aiming for this head. We don’t want to please. You see it. Certified lover boy On the way. And that’s in the way for everyone. “
Drake does not yet have an official release date for. announced CLB. Kanye has announced three release dates for its new album Donda, but has yet to follow despite having held three separate listening events. He is supposed to hold his fourth Donda Audio event in Chicago on August 26th.
