The countdown is running Certified lover boy.
Only four days until the release, digital billboards with texts from the album will appear at the Eaton Center in Toronto.
“I don’t miss you … let alone miss you,” says one, while the other reads: “Should have said today that you love me, because tomorrow is a new day.” A third billboard contains the words: “Something else than I have to give. “
The same texts appear on Nike-Branded CLB T-shirts. Drake went live on Instagram last night as his OVO team was handing out the t-shirts to fans on the streets of Toronto.
Drake unveiled Damien Hirst-designed cover artwork with 12 emojis for pregnant women. The album will be released on September 3, nine months after its original January release date, marking full pregnancy.
Based on the title, artwork and lyrics, there is speculation that the album will tend towards R&B. However, Hot 97’s Ebro Darden claims it will be a “straight-up rap album”.
Drake seems to be doing something at the last minute CLB. He shared a photo of Noah “40” Shebib in the studio and covered the computer screen with the pregnant woman’s emoji.
