Drake teases a studio session with Nicki Minaj

Drake and Nicki Minaj are up to something.

The Young Money duo sparked rumors of a collaboration after Drake posted a photo from Nicki’s studio on his Instagram story. Her signature neon pink sign can be seen in the picture. In a previous IG story, Drake filmed himself in the car wearing a red YMCMB hoodie, presumably on the way to record with Nicki.

The photos enraged fans as they speculated that their studio session might be related to Nicki’s big announcement. She plans to go live on Instagram this Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET, where she’ll reveal more.

It is unclear where the possible collaboration between Drake and Nicki could end. Nicki was working on her fifth album, which she called her “best album ever” during Drake’s long awaited album Certified lover boy is due by the end of summer.

Nicki recently worked for her with Drake and Lil Wayne on Seeing Green Beam me up, Scotty Mixtape re-release.

She also credits Drake for helping her overcome writer’s block after giving birth. “He single-handedly got me out of my writer’s block and I’ll never forget it and I’ll shout it from the mountaintops to the damn world,” she said during an IG Live. “He’s a damned genius as a music artist, but also as a person.”
