DONDA can finally see the light.
While fans eagerly await his often delayed album, Kanye West recently stepped into the studio with Tyler, the creator. Consequence shared a short video with a masked Ye and Tyler apparently working on new music.
“ConsTV Exclusive Ye x Tyler Epic Level Summer 21,” he titled the muted clip.
Fans also noticed a whiteboard in the background with a hesitant DONDA Track list with 10-11 tracks. As HipHop-N-More points out, some of the tracks are the same as on the tracklist that popped up a year ago, including “24” and “Hurricane”. Other new track titles are “Remote”, “Daylight”, “Jonah” and “No Child Left Behind”.
Plus, it appears that Kanye plans to preview the long-awaited project in Las Vegas tonight. An alleged invitation to an invite-only listening party claims the event will take place at 6:30 p.m. and cell phones are not allowed.
DONDA was a long time ago. In honor of Kanye’s birthday last month, his manager Abou “Bu” Thiam announced that an album was on the way.
DONDA, the continuation 2019 2019 Jesus is king, should fall last July before being postponed several times. The album previously had the title God’s land, however, was changed in honor of his mother, the late Donda West, who died of complications from surgery in 2007.
