Friday for new music is back, and this week we have the return of a lauded Atlanta trio, the third studio album by a budding star, and the latest from one of the talented producer-rappers of the SoundCloud generation.
Migos are doing what they hope, their triumphant return after an album break of over three years. The Atlanta group is back with their new album, Culture III, the continuation of the 2018 Multiplatinum Culture II. The new project includes 19 songs and guest appearances from Drake, Cardi B, Polo G, Future, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke and more. After some time in the development phase, the LP was first announced for 2019. After several delays, Quavo, Offset and Takeoff are finally feeding their fans with the new project that includes the singles “Straightenin” and “I Need It” with YoungBoy Never Broken Again.
The star power of the Polo G continues to shine. The 2020 XXL Freshman drops his first project of the year with his third album, Hall of Fame. This time around, the Chicago rhyme brings a 20-song series with a high-profile tracklist. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Pop Smoke, DaBaby, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, Rod Wave and more are all on offer. “I don’t usually even type in for features, but this time I’m like fuck it,” Lo recently wrote as his caption for the new LP on Instagram. “I Went & Gat Add Up Hard Asses W All My Favorite Personal Artists & Future Hall Of Famers In My Book.” Before the LP was released, Polo earned his first No. 1 song of his career with “Rapstar” on the album. He also dropped the acclaimed “Gang Gang” track starring Lil Wayne.

The Columbia, SC native, who spent the summers in Queens growing up, is delivering his latest album,The life of Pi’erre 5. The continuation tooTLOP4 includes artists such as Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert featured on the LP lead single, Sossboy 2, and more. In addition to the release of his second album by Pi’erre, an accompanying documentary has also arrived, which the beatmaker promised the fans on June 6th. “Sossboy 2 last single before the album, with Uzi Drops Wednesday,” he wrote in a tweet. “Full album Friday. And documentary Friday too. There.” The 16-song performance thinks that Pi’erre creates bass-heavy beats and serves melody-driven beats.
