The hip-hop kings took the stage at the Grammys.
Nas performed a medley of classics at Sunday’s show in Las Vegas. He was nominated for two awards and started with “I Can”. The 45-year-old rap icon, who looked dapper in a lavender double-breasted suit, brought it back to 2002 with “Made You Look” and “One Mic,” backed by a band like Adam Blackstone. He capped his set with “Rare” from his Grammy-nominated album king disease II.
Last year, Nas won his first career Grammy for Best Rap Album King’s disease. This year he received two nominations, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song, but went home with no awards.
Nas last appeared at the 2019 Grammys when he joined Lil Nas X for the remix of “Rodeo.”
Just before Christmas he released his 9 track project magic.
