In frontCOURT‘s arrival, Polo G released a nearly 60-second teaser about what it means to be worthy of the hall of fame. Narrated by famous Dream Team member and former Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippen, the visual shows a young boy on the train listening to music on the way to school. This child can be assumed to be a younger Polo, as Polo penetrates the image in the course of the visual representation and a montage of video recordings of him is shown in the studio and during his performance.
“To be in the Hall of Fame means at some point to have a single goal,” says Pippen in the promo clip. “A vision you had for yourself that you haven’t seen. You shed blood, sweat, and tears. You have invested every 10,000 hours and more to perfect your craft. To be in the hall of fame means that you.” You’ve seen what life has given you and you’ve made the most of it. That means you’re a champion, a legend. Polo G, welcome to the Hall of Fame. “
Before he released the album visual, a video of Polo freestyling via the late DMX’s “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” went viral on the LA Leakers radio show.
