When Quavo and Saweetie split in March, the Migos member is said to have repossessed the Bentley he bought for the Bay Area rapper. While there was never any validity to believe these rumors, people believe Quavo confirmed that he brought Saweetie’s car back on a new track on Migos’ new album.
On Friday (June 11th) the Quality Control Music crew released their highly anticipated album,Culture III. To the attempt there is a track with Quavo, Offset and Takeoff, which also shows Drake, called “Having Our Way”, in which Quavo suggests to withdraw the luxury gift he gave an unnamed woman. There’s no loss of name to confirm the Atlanta rapper is referring to Saweetie, but folks on social media who have heard the track feel that the bar is the only endorsement they need.
Towards the end of Quavo’s verse, he rhymes: “She had it her way, now she’s out of a Bentley (Skrrt) / (Skrrt, skrrt, out, ooh) out.”
One person tweeted in response to the alleged jab: “Quavo, repossessing the Bentley he gave to Saweetie is fun. “
Another wrote: “Quavo didn’t play with Saweetie and the BentleyLMAO. “
However, shortly after the rap couple split earlier this year, reports surfaced on the internet that Quavo had not repossessed Saweetie’s car and that the rumors were just that.
As a reference, the 30-year-old Reimer surprised the “Back to the Streets” artist last year around Christmas time with a tailor-made light blue Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet with “Icy Girl” embroidery on the headrests and a silver snowflake decoration on the side of the vehicle.
Saweetie shared a video of her receiving the gift on her Instagram Live, where fans saw her both stunned and excited as she thanked Quavo for the new whip. “My heart is beating so fast,” she said. “Thank you baby.” To which Quay, her nickname for him, replied, “Merry Christmas, baby. I love you.”
