Rihanna is ready to come for anyone who talks about her children.
As she nears her due date, the pregnant singer opened up about motherhood and the kind of mom she’s expecting. In fact, Rihanna says she’s going to “go psycho” to defend her family.
Speaking to ELLE at the launch of Fenty Beauty in Ulta Beauty stores, the Real Housewives fan was asked which housewife she most admires as a mom.
“Heather Dubrow is so chic while she’s a mom,” she said of the Orange County mom. “I just love the way she allows her kids to be who they are. And that is really inspiring for me.”
Rihanna, who announced in January that she and A$AP Rocky are expecting their first child, also has respect for another housewife, Teresa Giudice of New Jersey.
“But Teresa from Jersey doesn’t play with her kids,” she said. “She’s going to crush you for these kids. And that really appeals to me because I feel like that’s the kind of mom I’m going to be. Psycho because of that.”
When the interviewer mentioned Teresa flipping a table for her family, Rihanna said she’s ready to do more. “Worse. If you talk about my kids, it’s over,” she warned.
The mother-to-be has also taken advice from other mothers as a guide. “Probably the best advice is to sleep now, as I won’t be waking up much later. I have to work on that before it’s a thing of the past.”
