With the warm weather approaching fast, here are some of the new music releases that are getting fans excited for the summer. Look below to find some warmth for your speakers.
To commemorate this famous stoner’s favorite holiday, 4/20, Snoop Dogg delivered his 10-track album entitled From streets 2 to the suiteson Tuesday (April 20th). ProHoeZak, Kokane, Mozzy, Larry June, Snoop’s former Eastsidaz group members Goldie Loc and Big Tray Deee, J Black and Devin The Dude all offer guest voices for the project. The LP corresponds to the West Coast Banger of the California-bred Rhymer, which he made at the beginning of his career in 1993. Only this time, Snoop updates his sound to match the hip hop landscape we all live in.
A rap veteran himself, Curren $ y is also delivering new music this week. The latest EP from the 40 year old rapper, Financial district, can only be bought and played as an NFT (non-fungible token). The New Orleans native has teamed up with Bondly Finance, a peer-to-peer platform for digital sharing, to bring the auction to life on April 20 at 4:20 pm. Curren $ y offers two versions of the EP, both of which are sold at different price points. The seven-track version ofFinancial districtwill be auctioned for $ 500 while the five-track version will cost $ 250.
Another rapper who brings new music to hungry fans is Moneybagg Yo. The signatory of NLess Entertainment / Interscope Records releases its latest record.The pain of a gangsta. His gold sales hit “Time Today” appears as well as “Go!” with Memphis newcomer Big30. Moneybagg Yo sticks to its loud rap sound, which comes from its southern roots in Memphis. “Harder for the Next”, the single with future support released in March of this year, is also included in the 23-track project. The Rhymer saw success with the track and secured himself and Future a spot in the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this month.
Elsewhere, Cordae gives fans a glimpse of what to expect from his upcoming second album. The rapper offers a four-track EP called Just Until…. Young Thug plays on “Wassup” and Q-Tip on “More Life”. Cordae announced the project on Instagram earlier this week and published the tracklist. He also confirmed the release date in the headline, writing, “The album is almost ready, but there’s something here just until … midnight tomorrow 😈.” The project will be Cordae’s first release in 2021. The earlier 2019 XXL Freshman’s last drop came in November 2020 when he released his single “The Parables”.
