Tory Lanez talks about the state of music.
On Twitter, the Canadian rapper singer criticized the quality and impact of today’s artists and complained that “real music” was missing.
“It’s crazy … .. music has ACTUALLY NOT STICKED lately …” as if all of our favorite artist music doesn’t last longer than 4-5 months, ”he wrote.
According to Tory, there is no longer any originality. “Real music has to come back into play … real emotions. Less repetitive and redundant, ”he added.

Tory’s comments come as he prepares to release his’ 80s-inspired album Alone at Prom on December 1st. He released his first ever streaming NFT album in August When it’s dark, which he claims sold 1 million copies in less than a minute.
He’s not the only one weighing down today’s music. Eve recently shared her thoughts on hip hop and said “there are a lot of clones”.
“I feel like back then, when uniqueness was celebrated and I think now there is a lot of the same and that for me … It often makes it boring,” she told Trevor Noah on “The Daily Show”.
