Trey Songz is facing a $20 million lawsuit from a woman who alleges he sexually assaulted her.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Jane Doe says she had a consensual sexual relationship with the R&B singer before he suddenly became a “wild rapist.”
She claims Trey invited her to a house party in LA on March 24, 2016, when he took her upstairs to what she believed to be consensual sex.
But things took a turn when Trey reportedly asked her if he could “get his ass” on the way up. She repeatedly told him “no” and to stop asking. The woman then claims that Trey threw her to the ground, ripped off her pants, pinned her down, and forced his penis into her anus without consent.
She cried out in pain and tried to fight it off, but says she was overpowered. She hoped the “brutal rape” would end when someone entered the room, but she says the person left quickly and Trey allegedly continued to rape her.
After the alleged attack, she grabbed her clothes and ran outside to call an Uber. The Uber driver noticed she was in distress and took her to a hospital, where she claims a sexual assault investigation was conducted and police called.
The woman says the exam showed she had “severe anal tears that may require surgery.” She didn’t call Trey to the police because she was “in shock and fearing for her life.”
She is now demanding $20 million in damages from Trey. The woman’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, is also representing two women who are suing Trey for alleged sexual assault in Miami and New York.
Trey has denied the allegations. “The allegations in this complaint are false. Trey looks forward to the full facts airing,” a rep for the singer told TMZ.
“Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this lawsuit was credibly charged with attempting to pay a woman to falsely frame Trey,” the rep added. “Hours later, the same attorney filed this lawsuit on behalf of an anonymous client. It’s easy to see what’s happening here and it’s a disgrace to real victims of sexual assault.”
